One way we are different from some other groomers is that we take the time to work with a puppy or dog if they are scared or unsure of the grooming process. We take the time the dog needs to feel more comfortable and help them get over the fear. At times, this can add thirty minutes or more to the groom. For this reason, if the whisper treatment is necessary, the fee will be added to the grooming price.
If a dog has fleas/ticks, we give them a non-chemical flea bath, a deep condition, and slowly work through the coat to remove all fleas and ticks that can be found.

When a dog is brought in with a matted coat it can range from light matting in a few areas to severe matting all over the coat. With matting, even if the dog is shaved down, the clippers cannot go through the mats unless the dog is shaved to the skin. As a result, mats have to be carefully removed so the groom can be completed.
Some owners would prefer not to get their dog’s coat shortened. Instead, they want to have us remove as much hair as possible through brushing to reduce shedding. We offer this is increments of 10 (light), 15 (moderate), and 20 (mega) additional minutes of brushing, thinning, and reducing the coat.
